Kayleigh Scott / Owner & Coach

Kayleigh has been an avid cheerleader since the age of eight. She has cheered for basketball teams, football teams, and competitive all star squads winning multiple national & regional championship titles in the process. She has acquired great leadership skills throughout high school as captain of the Varsity Cheerleading Squad, and assisting in coaching the Junior Varsity Squad. Kayleigh began competitive cheerleading at age ten. Her very first year was full of fantastic competitions including Dallas, TX. She was also featured as Miss Cheer 2000 during her senior year of High School. Kayleigh has more than nine years experience coaching numerous cheerleading squads, ranging from ages two, to our parent squad. In addition, she has been involved with judging various competitions and staffing the Cheer and Dance Athletic Championships. Kayleigh attended North Carolina State University and there, earned her Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Law & Justice. Kayleigh is currently the head coach of all-star squads, preschool squads, and non-competitive squads.

Taylor Dillin / Head Tumble Coach & Junior All Stars

Taylor has been involved in cheerleading since the age of 14. He cheered on an all star squad at Southern Spirit Unlimited, Raleigh Rage, Southern Impact All Stars, and the Victory All Stars in Concord, NC. He competed on both level 4 and level 5 teams. He has won over 10 national championships in both team competitions and partner stunt competitions. In 2007, his squad was given the opportunity to compete at the Cheerleading Worlds Competition in Orlando at Disney's Wide World of Sports. Taylor cheered for UNC Charlotte. He began his coaching career in 2008 with Impact Athletics primarily as a tumbling and stunting coach. Additionally, Taylor has coached at Carolina Legacy & with NC State All Girl Cheerleading. In June 2010, Taylor joined Alpha Athletics and began coaching both non-competitive, ive all star squads, and our tumbling classes.

Kica Amidon / Mini All Stars Coach

Kica joined the Alpha Athletics family in 2009. She is currently coaching the Mini squad and a member of the Alpha Athletics parent squad. Kica has cheered since middle school. Throughout middle school and high school, she cheered for basketball and football teams. She also sat on numerous judging panels for JV and Varsity cheerleading try-outs. Kica was also cheered with Charlotte All-Stars for several years. Kica moved to the area to begin studying at Meredith College. While in college, she coached with C&C Cheer. Kica graduated in 2009 with a bachelor's degree in Psychology with a concentration on Child Psychology. She has experience with all ages of children and is an amazing addition to our staff.

Jessica Toney / Tiny All Stars Coach

Jessica has been cheering since she was 6 years old. She started off at Southern Spirit and also cheered at Raleigh Rage, Impact/Southern Impact, and Elite cheer and dance. When she was 13, her Junior level 5 team won a bid and was given the opportunity to compete at the Worlds competition in Florida. In addition to competitive cheerleading, she also cheers on Green Hope High School’s varsity cheerleading squad. Jessica now coaches the Tiny All Star Squad at Alpha Athletics.

Dustin Tharrington / Cheer Coach

Dustin joined the Alpha Athletics Staff in 2011. She has cheered for over fifteen year on on both school & all-star squads including; Champion All Stars, Greensboro All Stars, Raleigh Rage, Impact, Cheer Extreme, & EC Cats. She is a two time silver medalist at Cheerleading Worlds in Orlando, Florida. Additionally, she was NCA All-American in 2009 with multiple nominations in the years prior. For Alpha Athletics, Dustin coaches both non-competitive and competitive cheerleading squads. We are excited to have her on our staff.

Taylor Meiburg / Cheer Coach

Taylor joined the Alpha Athletics Staff in June, 2010. She currently attends UNC Wilmington. She coaches during the summers when she is home from school. She has numerous cheers of experience with cheerleading and gymnastics. She coaches ages 3-16.
