About Us
Alpha Athletics is
a educational and fun introduction to
cheerleading. Our goal is to focus on
coaching children in the fundamentals of
cheerleading, as well as, to instill
developmental soft skills that will be
important tools in life. Our program
develops teamwork and a childs self-esteem
and self-confidence.
The company began in 2005 by two preschool
mother's who realized that their children
were offered various educational enhancement
opportunities at their child-care center,
but none that interested their children. Together, they
created business that would offer
cheerleading classes to preschools. They
named the company C&C Cheer, to
represent their last names, Cooper &
Condon.
By 2008, Condon had left the company and
Cooper desired more time with her children.
Kayleigh Scott, a C&C Cheer coach of two
years, was offered the opportunity to take
over the company.
In January of 2009, the name of the company
was changed from C&C Cheer, to Alpha
Athletics. Since then, additional class
locations have been added and curriculum has
been expanded to comprise both competitive
and non-competitive classes. Preschool level
cheerleading is still offered, however,
these new locations allow for older ages to
participate in cheerleading.
